Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has urged traders and residents of the state to make sacrifices, bear the initial pains and vacate buildings marked for demolition to ensure timely delivery of the ongoing flyovers across the state. Wike made the appeal yesterday when he embarked on a tour of shops at Rebisi (Former Garrison) and Rumuogba (Former Artillery) being sites for the construction of flyover bridges. He urged the traders and residents to make sacrifices since the flyover bridges would be in the interest of all residents of the state. “To do three flyover bridges at the same time is not an easy task. The Target is that Julius Berger must hand over the three flyover bridges on February 20, 2021.
